  • We are a student-run organization established in the Spring of 2006.

  • Our funding comes from the UGA Honors Program.

  • The program is housed at the Thomas N. Lay Park Community Center.

  • Our Executive Board consists of nine UGA students who are appointed each semester by the Co-Executive Directors.

  • There will be about four Head Mentors and a member of the Executive Board on duty every day to supervise and answer any questions.

  • We serve approximately 40 elementary schoolers and 20 middle schoolers.

  • Each semester, the program is supported by an estimated 300 student volunteers.

  • The majority of the kids enrolled attend Barrow Elementary and Clarke Central Middle School.

  • Our volunteers represent a wide variety of majors, diverse interests and a range of campus organizations.

  • No prior training is required to volunteer.
